HOW CAN THE BRITISH CONSULATE-GENERAL HELP YOU? SUPPORT FOR BRITISH NATIONALS ABROAD

Falling sick, being a victim of crime, losing your passport, facing an emergency -- these are traumatic events under any circumstances. But when you face a crisis abroad, they can be even more difficult and frightening. As a British national overseas, what kind of help can you expect in a time of trouble?

The Foreign Office has published its first comprehensive guide entitled "Support for British National Abroad" which highlights the support on offer.

Whether you reside in the US or travel abroad, you will find the full version guide or the shorter version pamphlet very useful documents, both set out what kind of help we can and cannot provide.
